Dr. Darius Daunys (1973) graduated from Klaipeda University in ecology received his Ph.D in 2001 (Klaipeda University) with thesis on dynamics of bottom macrofauna along estuarine gradient. His research includes population dynamics of benthic invertebrates with focus on species role in habitat functioning. Darius is also giving lectures in Biostatistics for ecology and biology undergraduate students, as well as supervises B.Sc and M.Sc student projects.
